Why would a 1990 1.5 Dodge colt start to smoke and run bad when rains and then stops and then starts to run good when its warms up?
If a vehicle won't start when it rains or is very wet, it is a clear sign that the ignition wire insulation is old and tired. As a test, you can spray the wires and distributor with silicone spray or WD40. These drive off the water and the engine should start. If I spray wd40 on how long do I wait before I try to start the vehicle
white smoke is usually due to large amounts of oil in the muffler. if the mower was turned on its side for a period of time the oil will run into the muffler and when you start it it burns the oil out. after the large cloud starts to dissipate the smoke should start to change to a normal blue color and then disappear as it clears out
My 1965 mustang 6 cylinder 200 engine starts running rough and the motor shakes at a stop and stalls out and then its hard to start and blows out white smoke when it does start?
Why won't 1996 Buick century start after it rains I have had the cap and wires replaced but still it seems to happen too often. Is there some sensor that could be collecting water somewhere?
Your car starts slow white smoke started billowing out of hood now car does not start any ideas on what is going on?
Most vehicles smoke because they are burning oil in cylinders and the oil is getting into the cylinders because the piston rings are worn in any engine but the 3.0 The Dodge 3.0 engines had a bad problem with the valve guides/seals wearing out. If your 3.0 smokes a lot worse when you first start it or after you are idling at red lights that is the valve guides. Some synthetic oils or additives will…
Rivers start at a mountain or a hill and when it rains it moves the water along and then the water gathers other water from different rivers and then that little trickle of water then becomes a river and at the end of its journey it flows bit by bit into the sea and that is part of the water cycle and then it starts again just like that. AMAZING !!!!!!
What could be wrong when a 1992 dodge colt 1.5 engine won't start when is wet outside Look in for symptoms?
I'll describe you what is happening when I'm trying to start it after rain. Starter turns..but engine won't come on. I think water is coming somehow to the system - because when I'm pushing a gas pedal while starting the engine sometimes knocks couple of times and a lot of white smoke is coming from the exhaust..then it suddenly stops. The longer after the rain the better it gets - engine knocks for a longer…
