Bad fuel pump. This should still be under warranty, so have it hauled off to the dealer. the rotor and cap needs to be replaced, I just replaced mine and it started right away...bear in mind that the distributor cap on a GMC sierra 2002 4.3 v-6 is not easy to access...good luck.
