My ex narcissist said vile things about one ex (whom I found out took him to court and won) The other girl ex girlfriend he said nothing to me about. Guess who he is with now? Also because it would make him look bad. He has to be the hero and he will say things like its just didn't work out or we are great friends when in fact he was totally abusive to their ex. So they want to come off the good guy while the ex will do the work of making themselves look bad if he was abusive to her. Putting down your ex in front of the new girlfriend just looks bad and petty. Narcissists think they are above being petty.

There is no act a person can perform or one thing a person can do that would prove once and for all that the person is not and never has been and never will be a narcissist. Yet all the same, if you are not a narcissist, other people will recognize this fact, just as if you are, that too will come to light. Empathy.
