Why would a car die when my foot lifted off of gas pedal after being jumped and battery level is good and car is warmed up?
possibly your throttle position sensor is bad or not set
properly. Take the connections off the battery, clean then, and
wait 15 mins to reinstall. During that time make sure the throttle
position sensor is in the idle position, as in closed. Rehood the
battery, tighten the connections then crank. The computer may need
to relearn the electrical signals from the TPS and if you had your
foot on it when trying to start it with a dead battery, you may
have sent an errant message to the computer about the location of
the throttle blade.
