Immediate and catastrophic destruction of transistors and/or diodes. While that does not ALWAYS occur, it's certainly possible. Start with the alternator. No doubt those diodes have been destroyed if a battery has been connected with reverse polarity.

User Avatar

this is simple definitly not if the car was sitting in one spot the whole time it was washed then it could not have been damaged whether it was in neutral drive reverse it does not matter. sincerely Cody

If it is like mine--the squeaking will eventually occur all of the time while driving. I had to change the universal joints on the drive shaft at 70,000 miles. GM should be ashamed, with gas prices as high as they are, every mile on this truck has been driven gently.

If you can still your hard drive and there is no information on while you know that it was before than it was wiped. If hard drive does not work and malfunctioning it means that it is failing or has failed.

More to the QuestionJust a bit more information to my question above. The car was only working on two cylinders or pistons. That has been repaired and the car now works good. When I put the car into drive or reverse I have to keep my foot on the accelerator and on the brake. Once the car has taken of and I get to an intersection its fine there is no problem its just after the car is switched on and the initial take of be it in reverse or in drive that's the problem. Can anyone shed some light on it please?

its the sensor located in the intake, called intake air temperature, when disconnected check engine light come on and shifts hard into drive and reverse check for bad harness or unplugged.

Unless you have had the problem corrected by a certified mechanic, or have been told its okay to drive by a mechanic, then I would not recommend it.

A reverse mortgage lead is where you can get names of people that are interested in getting a reverse mortgage. These leads should already have been screened to meet the criteria for a reverse mortgage.

The transfer case could have been jammed, such as by shifting int 4WD while wheels were slipping. If a pin bends, it can stick the transfer case in 4WD permanently.

Refine your question with following info: Is there a check engine light? are any fuses blown? Have recent repairs been made?

User Avatar

It could be anything depending upon how many other drives you have. It would probably be the next letter after whatever letters have already been used.

That would depend on which model year of Chevrolet Malibu ( both rear wheel drive and front wheel drive versions have been made )

The ship would have been capable of moving in reverse, but that still would not have prevented the crash. That's a lot of weight moving at a considerable speed through the water, and adding up to a lot of momentum - the ship would've continued moving forward for quite some distance before the reverse propeller blade brought it to a stop.

No - a suspended licence prohibits you from dirving ANY vehicle you would normally be covered to drive.

User Avatar

no it is defently rear wheel ================================================== That would depend on which model year , there have been rear wheel drive and front wheel drive versions of the Mercury Cougar

User Avatar

it has sensors either on the wheel hub or in the transmission to check for distance traveled while in drive
