Although remarriage is a perfectly acceptable - even lovely - thing to happen to a widow/er, the fact remains that the problem of accepting that the person loved and still loves another, even though they are dead- has broken many subsequent marriages. It is not an uncommon problem, and is one based on insecurity and a degree of self-centeredness. You are not at all to blame, but only extensive counseling will change the jealous one, as the problem is deeply rooted and goes beyond the obvious.
