Why you want to be a girl?

No one "wants" to be a female. I'm assuming that you are straight and your birth sex is the same as your gender (what's between your legs is what's between your ears.)

Gender is not chosen, it's not studied, it's not taught, it's not absorbed: it is a factor of birth (notice I didn't say genetics - the proof is out on that one.) Did you wake up this morning deciding to be a 'boy' or a 'girl'? Neither does a transsexual.

A transsexual (or transgender which ever term you use) was born with one sex between the ears. As they grew older they learned from society that the gender they have ISN'T what is supposed to go with those parts between their legs. Some (depending on history and individual person) can stay in that body and accept some freedom in gender behavior, others need to dress and act as the gender and others need surgery to stop the fight between mind and body.

No one choose which level they are at nor do they choose to be different. It's a fact of their life that they are different. Those that don't transition are no better or worse than those that do, those who get surgery are no better or worse than those that don't. It is a matter of heart, mind and body.

Imagine this - you went to bed last night a boy (or girl whichever you are) and you have always been this and always will be this. This morning you wake up and look in the mirror - holy &^%%$ - this isn't right! That's not what I had last night! What I've been since I've existed!! So you get dressed and go to your personal doctor, who has known you for years. And you tell said doctor "I'm going nuts doc! You know me - it's (your name here)" "Yes, I know that.. what's going on?" "Geez doc, is this a joke, I'm a (whatever you were) - you know that -- you've known me for 30 years!" "Yes (your name here) but you've always been a (what you are now) .. what's going on? Are you feeling sick?" "Sick doc? Sick? I'm not supposed to have a (whatever)!!"

You finally calm down and realize the doctor is going to lock you up if you keep talking like this, but this isn't right! So you go to work and nobody notices anything BUT YOU AREN'T THIS SEX!

Imagine this from the day you know the difference between girls and boys (even before you knew about parts..) - when you want to wear that suit because you're a boy but mom and dad just keep trying to put dresses on you. When you want long hair and dolls, because that's what girls have, but all you hear is "no son of mine is gonna be a sissy and playwith dolls..." It's not a choice, it's not a want - it's something inside you that says "I AM A ____________" You can't convince it it's wrong, it's so far down it's like your skin color or the way you laugh or what you think is funny .. it's just you.

Personal opinion. Because you are gay and because of upbringing, you see this as wrong but if you were a female, it would be alright to like men. It's alright anyway. We are all born the way we are and like who and what we do. None of it is wrong and don't let anyone tell you that it is. Accept yourself and you may find that it is alright to be male and like them also.

He wouldn't. A person would want to live as the other gender because that is how they already see themselves.

yeah they are! girls in my opinion are able to get along better with others and they don't have to prove themselves to their friends like boys do
