cause it loves your little mouse lol i have no idea maby it was hungry or thought the cage was a nice place to stay...
maybe or maybe not
If not removed from the cage, yes
if you don't buy the male mice at the same time while their in the same cage they would fight bitterly but 2 females might not have a problem with each other but the safest way to get 2 mice at a time is from the same cage.
Male mice are Teritorial only if 1. there is another male mouse in his cage Or 2. if there is a moter mouse with babys
No, the male mouse will harm the babies if they are not old enough. I left my male mouse in the same cage when my female had babies, what I found was that she would only go near the babies when it was feeding time, other than that my male ( the father ) was the one to protect then when people put their hands in the cage and he would sit on them to keeo them warm it was so cute, also good for the babies as he is the size on a small rat. xXx LostNHopeless
Yes, a mouse (female or male) will get lonely if kept alone in a cage. Mice are very social animals and need the company of other mice to be happy.
It's quite obvious, remove the male from the cage/enclosure...
Get a female mouse and male mouse, keep them in the same cage, they are likely to mate or breed if they're alone together.
As long as there is one male mouse and one female mouse in the same cage there will most likely be babies.
Is the male still in the cage with them? She will go right into heat again if there are no babies...lose the male!
No way. If the baby mice are in the cage long enough with the mother mouse, the mother mouse will indefinitely eat the babies.
No because if you put a baby mouse/mice with adults they would think it's FOOD! Trust me, I had a baby field mouse and I put it in the cage with the adults and it was gone soon.
