Why would air compressor on your 1999 Oldsmobile intrigue still work but there is not any cold air coming out?
What would cause my 1999 Oldsmobile intrigue still overheats after replacing water pump thermostat and cap?
I've discovered this is a common problem among many Intrigue owners. The most helpful answers were: 1. Air is in the coolant system and you'll need to properly bleed it out. 2. There is an "enhanced thermostat" that seems to solve the problem for many people. It allows the proper amount of flow to cool the engine. 3. Make sure the belt and tensioner are adjusted properly. Just relaying what I've learned ... Al
What could be the problem when turn signals blink twice then stay off on a 2000 Oldsmobile intrigue?
what ever the size of the spark plug socket is. get the same size deep socket without the rubber that holds the electrode it should be able to remove it. lefty loosey righty tighty. that's if the six sided nut is still attached and screwed into the head.but if it is broken after the nut not to sure what to do sorry.
On a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am How do you jump the air compressor to get it to turn When I tried to add the coolant it wouldn't turn over Is their a way to jump start the compressor and how?
My car is going through the same issue with the A/C. You CAN replace the compressor clutch without replacing the compressor, but the caveat is that you can't tell if the compressor is any good without a clutch. So basically you are gambling that the compressor will still be good by only replacing the clutch. Hope this helps!
1987 Toyota Camry ac works until engine spontaneously idles up appx1500 rpm at which time ac compressor still runs but air temp gets warmer New timing belt Car does not idle up without ac on?
It should be about 3lbs along with like 6 ounces of compressor oil if you still have the York or Tecumseh compressor. If you have a later, rotary style compressor, like a Sanden or something, there should be a tag or a sticker or something on it with the information. If the compressor is basically rectangular, like a box, it's the York or Tecumseh. If it's cylindrical, like a tube, it's a rotary style compressor.
if you turn the selector switch of your aircon and only fan is working and no cold air coming out of the diffuser have your aircon fuse connected to the compressor check. If the fuse is not blown then have your thermostat be set to colder position. If the compressor still does not work have the thermostat be check by an auto aircon tech. If the thermostat is ok then look for any sign of…

happened to me a few times after my fuel pump float assembly fell apart, telling me at times i had a full tank, I learned after burning out a starter to turn the key without cranking to get the fuel back through the lines,do it a few times, each time wait until the fuel pump noise stops, turn off for a few seconds and repeat, try cranking after a few times,I dont know if you can flood a fuel…
Already changed fuse and air conditioning compressor clutch assembly but no power going to cause the compressor to kick on to pull back the clutch so that compressor kicks on what could be the cause?
What specific kind of vehicle do you have? It does sound like the clutch may be bad, but we also need to know what you are working on. You need to run power straight from the battery to the compressor. If is still does not engage then you need to replace the compressor and clutch, they are dead. If they do engage, then you have a wiring or computer issue.
My passenger side windshield wiper will not work on my 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue. How can I fix it if you can still see the little knob turning but the windshield wiper only comes up about 1 inch?
to many things to count, if it still runs fine it is usually something like an egr sensor or o2 sensor, it could be any bad sensor or any other electrical problem, the only real way to find out is to check it with a code reader or scan tool, most parts stores will check it for free and then try and sell you the part, a shop will charge a fortune just to look…
