The radio/CD player must NOT be turned on. Press the DISP button on the right-hand side. The clock display starts flashing. Then press the Up or Down arrows to the left of the clock display to move the time forward or backward. These are the buttons you would use to change tracks or stations when the CD/radio is on.

I would suggest a Sony clock radio. You can get this for a very cheap price of 19 to 20 dollars. And it isn't to complicated it is just a very simple clock radio. I think it will be great for your kids.
check your fusees first, if it is an after market radio check your connections also check battery connections
More than likely a blown fuse.
a picture of the radio would be helpful
No. The only thing would be the clock and radio.
On your turn signal stalk you have a BC button, you need to use that to get the clock display to come up in the midlle of you instrument cluster(where the temp or mpg would display) then once that is in your screen use the right side trip reset button on the instrument cluster BY TURNING it left to right, you dont need to turn it hard. Turning to the left sets the clock back to the right sets it ahead.
Generally, it would cost the same as getting satellite radio for your car.
i would check your fuses
I would start with the fuse panel.
i have a 95 Spirit and have the same problem. It is getting power to the radio (back lit, and tape player will rewind, but the clock display doesnt work, and the radio doesnt work (which sucks). Sometimes it will turn on when I start my car, but once the car is running, there is 0% chance of the radio coming on, even if I start banging around the radio. THis leads me to believe that is not a loose wire, but something in the ignition? Any input would be appreciated! I to had the same prob with the radio in a 90 Caravan which also carrys the same radio setup as the Dodge Spirit... its a short in the radio that aventually developes... theres nothing wrong with wiring... i took the radio setup out of my 92 Spirit (cause trans went out) and put it into the Caravan and still works fine, so its not a wiring prob... just a prob with the radio itself.
An Ipod dock with alarm clock would fit in well with modern decor. email@example.com
According to my uncle who is James Reynolds son."the alarm quit working on his wind up clock... so he rigged the key on the back of the clock to the volume knob on the radio. when the alarm started going off, the key would spin around and turn the volume up on the radio."
A battery powered alarm clock is best as you may not remember to plug it in all the time.
Check the fuse box for bad fuses.
i think its 17
The way on how to set the clock in your car, would depend on the tyoe of clock/radio in it. My first suggestion: check and see if it is the original clock/radio installed. If it is the "factory stock"(the clock/radio that it had when first built, sold, etc.), would be to check the owner's manual. On later models there will be a pair of arrow buttons labeled "Audio" that you can use to set the hours and minutes separately. Simply hold each one until the time begins to change. If, however, it has been replaced by a different clock/radio system, you are going to have to look up the kind installed into it. For better or futher advice, contact your nearest auto part/repair store. If you need a clock that bad...buy a watch!
It depends entirely on which (factory installed) radio you have. The instructions are different for each one. My suggestion would be to GOOGLE the words "Ford Focus clock" and see what results you get. Of course if you have an "after-market" radio you'd have to follow theinstructions for the suppliers particular radio.
I have a 1997 Buick Lesabre with a GM Radio and would like to know how I can enter a code to unlock the radio. I can opperate the radio from the steering wheel, but not the radio itself. The radio don't display anything on it If you have any info on this I would appreciate it Thank you John
The backlight lightbulb inside the stereo for the display may be burned out ( best case ) or the display itself is bad ( worst case ). How would either senerio be fixed?
At 10 minutes to 3, a digital clock would show 2:50. Or, if it's a 24 hour clock and it's 10 minutes to 3 in the afternoon, it would display 14:50.
It could be a blown fuse.
Should have 2 fuses 1 being a constant HOT to maintain memory circuit in radio (clock, station select, etc.)
