The regular chemical reaction that you would see with something like a volcano experiment would still happen under a balloon. Air would be released, the balloon would expand and eventually pop.

Yes of course. This is because when baking soda and vinegar (acetic acid) mix together, they undergo a vigorous reaction and give out huge amounts of carbon dioxide gas which in enough to inflate a balloon which is fit on the mouth of the reaction container. This reaction is same as shaking a bottle of cola and then opening the cap.

Yeast, sugar and water can blow up a ballon. Baking soda and vinegar are what people put in science fair volcanoes to make it "erupt" but I have no doubt that they will fill up the balloon with vinegar and baking soda and not carbon dioxide. Yeast is a live bacteria (that's safe!) and yeast "eats" the sugar and creates carbon dioxide. That's why bread baked with yeast rises in the oven. Vinegar and baking soda however just don't mix so the baking soda ends up fizzing in the vinegar and like mentos and soda, it will shoot up in the air with no carbon dioxide creation at all.

No , because vinegar (dil.aceticacid) is a liquid and backing soda (NaHCO3) is a solid .

Yes it can if there is enough of it. When you mix vinegar and baking soda, a chemical reaction occurs, and the CO2 gas can inflate the balloon if it is sealed immediately before the chemicals are fully mixed. There will be a dilute sodium acetate solution left inside.

However, the balloon will not float since the remaining solution and the gases would be too heavy. CO2 gas is heavier than air, and so are liquids. You could attach the balloon to a test tube or similar lab tubing, perhaps using a two hole stopper, and react the solution in the test tube and inflate it with just the carbon dioxide that is released. Yet once again, the balloon would be too heavy to float.

because the gases in both of them react to eachother.

What chemical reactions explains how vinegar and baking soda make a balloon blow up?

vinagar and baking soda can blow up a balloon because when you mix the two chemicals it creates a chemichal reaction nnd starts to fizz.

Why does baking soda and vinegar make a balloon get more air?

because the gases in both of them react to each other

How do you make a balloon blow up with vinegar?

It would require adding another chemical such as baking soda to produce gases. While you could put chemicals in the balloon, you could also mix them in another container and then capture the gas released into the balloon. For instance, you could use a test tube with a stopper and a pipette.

How do make C2o?

How do you make a chemical reaction that makes stuff blow up?

you need to add baking soda(a base) and vinegar(an acid)

Could baking soda and soda make a balloon blow up?

When mixing the two chemicals in baking soda (called sodium bicarbonate) and vinegar (called acetic acid), you cause a chemical reaction to occur. Carbon dioxide is one result of that reaction. Once the carbon dioxide fills up the bottle, it has no where else to go but into the balloon filling it up as more carbon dioxide is created. Also how you make a soda blow up is by going into a dark ally and looking for a stick of dinamite.
