A faulty power window switch or faulty wiring. The motor works in either direction (there is only one motor per window), so it's not the motor but the wiring or the window switch. Unless the motor control is damaged, that is. Check the switch for continuity first, then check the continuity of the wiring. If you don't find the fault in either of those places, check the motor assembly. Post back here with your findings. Thank you.
Bad switch or motor on other window Check to see if you are getting power to it - if so bad motor - if not maybe bad switch or open in wiring circuit
I would replace the master window switch
no there is a left and right if you moved one to the other side the track for the window would face toward the out side of truck window would not mount to regulator.
I would check the switches first then check the window motor for passengers side.
check to be sure your wiring harness for that door is plugged in and not pinched or otherwise damaged
bad window motor have it replaced.
If the passenger side works fine and there is no power at the driver side motor, I would suspect the switch. A weak motor will overheat the switch causing it to melt inside where the contacts are.
It could be a child lock mechanism. It could be something blocking the lever arm that lowers/raises the window. Consult your car manual.
I have a 2003 alero. It has a power window circuit breaker on the passenger side fuse panel. It is located between 2 relays. I would check that first.
Would like a fuse box diagram for 1993 Audi 90 CS. Driver side power seat and passenger side window are out. Thanks
The year, make and model vehicle would help.
hardest part is getting the window to line up on the tracks after installation dont be scared. i am not that mechanical and did it in less than 2 hours try autozone for online instructions they were very good I've had my passenger power window motor go out twice on my 2002 Cavalier and trust me, it's harder to put the motor in than one would think. I took it to the local glass company and they installed it for about $70. Not a bad price to get it done right.
