why does the fuel gage on 2005 mustang don't work?
A faulty fuel gauge sending unit in the fuel tank could cause that.
replace the printed circuit board behind the tach gauge. $15.00
You will need a fuel pressure gauge. Connect the gauge to the fuel rail and start the engine. The gauge will tell you how much pressure they pump is putting out.
What are you talking about? My temperature gauge works fine. Though, if it wasn't I would check the temperature sending unit.
The problem could be a dirty sensor or the sender is no good.
Fuel sender inside the gas tank may be block
I was looking at the 1997 Ford Mustang Owner Guide and it doesn't show a low fuel light in the gauge cluster
id say either a bad ground to chassis on the fuel sending unit (off the top of the tank.) or a bad gauge
manometermanometerA pressure gauge ...unless you call it a tire gauge.manometer
The float in the fuel tank may need to be replaced.
no he is not unless he is suposed ti have boobs!!!! just kidding!!!
could be the temperature sending unit
The amperage gauge will go down when you turn on your lights, because there is a sudden draw of electric power from the battery. The alternator should equal out the power surge.
I had the same problem with my 1970 mustang. First take the wire off of the Temperature sending unit (usually on the front of the block) and ground out the wire and see if the gauge goes up on the dash. if so it is just a temperature sending unit. They cost about 7 dollars.
Connect a Freon gauge and Freon to the low side ac port. With the engine running and ac on high, open the valve and allow Freon to flow until the gauge reads full.
Go to Remington's website and send the info to them. They will respond in a day or two.
Not unless you have run out of gas.
It could just be broken. Or the gadget in you gas tank has been displaced
The low coolant warning light is just to the left of the bottom of your engine oil pressure gauge
18 guage will do you ok unless you need to run it a mile or two.
why would you be asking this question unless your a police officer and or hunter
take off the upper 3-4 screws on dash/gauge panel (attaching to dashpad from below), remove panel, remove press clips holding gauge lenses to gauges (optional), then remove the four - five mounting bolts holding gauge assembly, replace bulbs which are accessed on the rear of the gauge assembly, replace in reverse. good luck.
Your gauge will be different and the size of the garment will be different, unless you accommodate the larger needles with a new gauge, and recalculate the fit.
