That's because you need to disarm the car alarm if you dont have the remote. To do this on the driver side there should be a fuse box. Open it, look for a little black button. Press it 5 times not too fast or to slow. After you've done this, you should hear the alarm beep twice and the little red security light should be steady instead of blinking. This works believe me!

You can find a 97 Nissan Altima alternator schematic diagram in the vehicle's owner's manual. You can also check local auto part stores.
There is no error code PO329 for a Nissan Altima. The closest codes for this would be P0335 which is the CKP Sensor or P0340 which is the CMP Sensor, Detectable Or Undetectable Circuit.
It might have run out of gas.
Your spark plugs.
i would recommend ngk iridium plugs
Would it be due to bad injectors
Nissan introduced a hybrid version of the Altima, but unfortunately it has not lived up to the car company's expectations. The hybrid Altima has been available only in several states in the U.S.A., and it seems that Nissan would have trouble in expanding sales nationwide. The decision to cease production of the hybrid Altima has been balanced by the development of the Leaf, which is an electric car that is much more fuel efficient.

Some of the features that are offered with the Nissan Altima 2005 would be as follows. Power steering, powered windows, a cassette or CD player, 4 doors and is good for up to 5 passengers.
Normally you hit the lock button twice to make the horn beep, but I think your car does a double beep but it not the horn if it dont beep anymore you could have it fixed but would it be worth it?
Why would you want to put 20 inch rims on an Altima? I can tell you that 18 inch rims worked.
Your throttle cable, needs to be adjusted.
Because the switch is in the on position
Purchasing a new Nissan Altima Hybrid would mean being prepared for a pricetag starting at about $16,500 and up. Shopping around your local dealers could help you find the deal which suits you best.
I have a 2003 Altima that while traveling under 35 mph might shut down. Nissan says it is the crank shaft angle sensor thingy. Nissan will repair for $215.00 or your local mech. will do it for $191.00...KNOWN problem but no recall!
It would be nice to know the year of your Nissan Altima. For Nissan 2000 Altima GXE the air filter is located right next to the battery. Just push off the 4 clips that hold the top of the filter housing and pull the top off just enough to remove/replace the air filter. Close it and and pull the clips back on.
My edcated Guess would be to open the hood, unscrew them and replace them.

There are a couple of places where one could purchase a used Nissan Altima Coupe in Canada, the first place would be to consult a used Nissan car dealership in the local area, if such exists. Otherwise there are websites such as Ebay or Craigslist which frequently will sell these cars.
I am having the same problem with a 1998 Nissan Altima. The engine runs fine at idle. When you press the gas the car stalls out. I'm down to replacing the gas pump in hopes of fixing this problem.
it is quite possible that your gas line is clooged or you need a new fuel filter.
