I have a 1997 K3500 and my DRL were working fine until I removed the dash to replace a light that had burnt out. Tomorrow I plan to remove the dash and see if I disconnected something to cause the problem. If you come up with the answer in the meantime please let me know. Thanks, Peter There is a diode under the dashboard, right where your right knee would be. The diode is about one and a half inches by four inches,it is black and the two wires clip into the top of the diode.I changed the diode with a new one I had to buy at a Chevy dealer. I put it in and the lights began to work again.
It is probably the running lights that are working and the regular headlights aren't working because of the switch or wiring. TAke it to a garage.
Most likely burnt out bulb.
Headlights not working
check fuse for the running light module.
I own a 2005 jeep Cherokee my headlights on the passenger side is not working changed the bulbs & they are still not working.
Dodge Rams are not equipped with Daytime running lights.. Although what you can do is turn on the parking lights and select just your fog lights (if equipped) otherwise to have running lights you will need to turn on your headlights. It's not a huge advantage to have running lights, because when the climates come that you need to turn on the headlights anyways, they aren't necessary.
reverse black and red wires
mY hONDA crv CRUISE CONTROL WAS WORKING UNTIL NOW EVEN WHEN HEADLIGHTS WERE ON. bUT IT STOPPED WORKING EVEN THOUGH HEADLIGHTS ARE ON OR NOT.........PLEASE HELP
The headlights and the tail lights may not be working on the 1981 El Camino because of a mechanical breakdown.
Certainly ... but once it becomes dusk and headlights are required, it had better be in working order. One might be stopped by a policing authority anyway - all licensed autos are supposed to have everything in working order at all times.
