Answer:Are you familiar with the term "sociopath?" Sociopaths are people without a conscience. They care about no one but themselves. They focus on no one's needs but their own. The normal empathy the rest of us feel for those that are smaller, weaker or younger does not exist in the sociopath. They don't feel true affection because they don't care about anyone but themselves. However, they are skilled manipulators and possess keen insight into human nature because they are excellent observers of behavior. They have however leaned how to feign feelings, concern, affecting and empathy remarkably well.

Sociopaths are out for themselves and have no problem using you to get what they want or taking it if you won't willingly give it. They use and hurt others without remorse. They never feel guilty or sorry for what they've done either. They are the ultimate parasites, taking everything they can from others while giving little to nothing back. They lie, twist facts, game on and intentionally deceive people as easily as taking a breath. Anyone that interacts with them feels drained, confused, weakened and hurt afterwards.

It could be chalked up to poor choices or a lack of class, but guys who clown vulnerable women this way actually hurt them. Why would they inflict emotional pain that way? Perhaps some sad and dimented sadistic streak motivates them to be so intentionally cruel. There are some sick puppies out there. It could be that they have had something similar done to them and are looking for some payback. They may have learned it's "okay" to play games like that and they don't think it's wrong - even though it hurts the woman or women on whom they practice their "game" of pain. There may be other reasons. And the men who play at this may pick women they see as vulnerable because it may seem to them that this woman will be "better game" and the sinister antics will have more of an effect on that person than someone who is "less injured" coming in.

Why don't we all educate ourselves and elevate our awareness just a bit to be able to spot this kind of thing taking place? And, if we become aware of it happening, why don't we step up and step in to cut it off? If individuals know a man who is this kind of "gamer" and is bringing his "game" to their sandbox, either check the fool hard or warn his possible targets of his flawed personality. Nip the action in the bud. People who intentionally hurt other people need to be checked to the curb. And the ignorant ones who practice this kind of nonsense need to be schooled....

Well, girls play mind games too. Do you realize you do it? We all have done it or are doing it. When younger we don't often realize we are doing it because it comes under the title of "flirting." Men like to be the stronger sex and that they know all there is to know about sex, so the wise woman always lets the little darlings think this. If you like a guy that is all over you one minute and not the next, then stay one step ahead of him and ignore him! That gets them everytime. It could be nothing more than the fact he's shy. If you don't like the games he's playing then kick him to the curb. This could be a signal to you, that you prefer guys that are more direct and don't play games. One reason the guy you like may be playing mind games with you is that, like most girls do, he's trying to play hard to get. He may flirt with you one day and lead you on then the next see what you do when he doesn't give you any attention. It all depends on what kind of mind games he's using but they mostly all end up with the result of him liking you and either not wanting it to be obvious or that's just his way of showing a girl he's interested. But they are basically just ways to play "hard to get."
