∙ 2006-04-12 08:42:06Check thermostat, if stat not working it wont be circulating the water past the sensor to bring fan on. Is one of the coolant hoses cold even when it overheats? Hope this helps

The thermostat on a 1995 Nissan Sentra 1.6 is located behind the water inlet. The water inlet is positioned at the end of the lower radiator hose.
The thermostat on a 1995 Nissan Sentra 1.6 is located behind the water inlet. The water inlet is positioned at the end of the lower radiator hose.
Normally it will last the life of the engine and is replaced when the engine is overhauled.
Should be a drain plug either at bottom or rear of radiator or remove lower hose
maybe check the thermostat.
follow the top hose off of your radiator and this is where your thermostat is
