Why would the transmission fluid of a 1999 Subaru Forester leak only in reverse in cold weather?

When is the last time you had it serviced. It could be Time to replace the seal. Good Luck and Remember.

Just make sure NOT to overtorque them--find the torque values first. One down-side to trying this is the fact that the possibility of the seal already having had fluid passing by it, in which case it would be back to time to replace the seal...
