first, start with the basics. make sure that there are not any blown fuses. you can check this out by consulting your owner's manual. if inspection of the fuses yields no answers, check the wiring harness going to the windshield wiper motor. you're looking for any broken, missing or chafed wires. if everything is kosher, there's nothing you as an owner can do except take the car to a qualified mechanic to have it further serviced.
It needs to be checked out . There are many things that can go wrong.
Because the windshield wiper is on.
how much would it cost to replace the heater coil on a 1999 buick leSabre
Because they are broken.
If your windshield wipers are not working, you should check your owners manual. It could be a fuse or another easy fix.
Well, I would recommend taking the windshield wipers off, and then try re-attaching it to the windshield. However, there is also the option of checking to see if the attachment is attached properly in the first place.
Fuse or windshield wiper motor.
Windshield wipers are most commonly used on cars when it is raining or hailing outside. The windshield wipers help push the water or ice away from the windshield so that the driver can see.

what would cause a 1994 Buick LeSabre v6 to turn off going down the road.
I use to put cardboard on the glass under the wipers, leaving the wipers laying on the cardboard to hold it in place. Unless it is raining, the cardboard does not get soggy, and does not freeze to the windshield and the wipers do not freeze to the cardboard. I lived in PA for 38 years so I have dealt with ice and snow. Then I wised up and moved here to Arizona. 70 degrees today..................sorry to tell you! You could also put a sheet of plastic between the wipers and windshield. You have to start with a dry windshield and wipers so the plastic or cardboard does not freeze to either.
Normally its a fuse. Check your owner's manual to find where the fuses are and which one is related to the wipers.
The spark plug gap for a 2003 Buick LeSabre should be set at .060 inches. The best spark plug for this vehicle would be an Iridium plug.

Check battery and cables
Generally, if the motor is working on windshield wipers, the problem is electrical. Check the fuses and the wiring to see if something needs replaced.
Are the electronically not working or just not performing correctly? If electronically, I'd check your fuses. The best place to locate and identify your fuses is in your owner's manual. If the wipers are streaking or something like that, make sure they are clicked all the way on and not binding.
Blown fuse would be my first guess.
