after replacing my fuel pump twice on my 94 s10 blazer it still wouldn't turn over. after 2 months of tinkering around, i found a short in the power line/wiring harness. i bypassed this problem by running a new power wire to the fuel pump which is ran by a toggle switch in my dash. now i just flip the switch before i start my truck and she starts every time.
good luck,
check your relays!
Assuming the fuel filter has been changed, most commonly a bad fuel pump.
fuel pump was coming on before changed fuel filter now its not is there a reason for this
The fuel filter for a 98 blazer should be on the inside frame rail on the driver side about mid vehicle. Just take the old one off and put the new one on.
depends of size of engine. 6 cyl about 5 quarts with filter changed
Where is the fuel filter located on a 1990 chevrolet blazer?
I have a 1993 S10 Blazer and I filled up yesterday with 338.2 miles on the last full tank it took 16.258 gallons for a mpg of 20.8, when I first got the blazer a couple of years ago the mileage was terrible, I changed the plugs to Bosch Platinum, changed the oxygen sensor, changed the oil and filter using Castrol Syntec 10 w 30 and changed the air filter. The major causes of my bad mileage was a bad air filter and Oxygen sensor. Here is a link to mileage figures for a 93 Blazer with a 4.3 litre engine, you can search for a 92 when you get there. http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/noframes/10538.shtml
The oil filter is located right behind the driver's side headlight under the hood, this is a remote oil filter, all 4x4 s-10 blazers are set up this way.
The 2001 Chevrolet Blazer doesn't have a cabin filter.
The 1997 Chevrolet Blazer didn't come with a cabin filter.
Could be a plugged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump.
U can have the fuel pump and fuel filter both changed in bout 1:30 and thats taking ur time.
