water in passenger floorboard, where is the hose that would cause this?
A damaged heater core will cause coolant or water to leak onto the passenger floorboard.
It could possibly be the heater core Check your heatting and a/c
A leaky door seal or windshield seal
This would be caused by a leaking heater core, or a leak in the plumbing associated with it.
Hi..I recently had troubles with my alero, and it was the intake manifold gasket, which i guess is a common problem with 2000 alero's...i would get that checked out
Gasket that surrounds the trunk lid is bad or damaged.
It sounds like you may have a bad heater coil. Next time you get a puddle, smell it... Chances are it is coolant and not water
The heater core has gone bad or possibly a hose leading to it or away from it has gone bad.
The holes is called the bypass holes I had the same thing happened to my alero
check the seals in the door, window, and windshield on that side. put paper towels (or something to catch water) next time it rains, see if you can find a pattern of entry.
You could have a seal leaking around a door or if you have a sunroof the drain holes might be plugged. Most cases of water leaking into the floorboard would be a plugged ac drain in the evaporater case. If you notice on a hot summer day and your ac is on that if you leave it parked, you will see water on the ground. This is from water draining out of the case, but if the drain becomes plugged it will build up in the case and slosh around and sometimes come into the floorboard.
