If your engine temperature gauge is indicating a lower temperature than
normal ( it sounds like the engine cooling thermostat is sticking open or not
closing all the way )
Mine does that but I still get good heat from the heater in the winter time and my check engine
light hasn't come on ( if my vehicle had to sit outside in the winter I would have the
thermostat changed )
The engine will seize and lock up way before it gets hot enough to turn oil to ash.
No, the only thing it would do is make the engine run hot. However, if the leak is large enough and low enough, the coolant could leak out fast enough to destroy the engine. You should get it fixed.
The fuel injectors on the passenger side of the engine must not be getting enough fuel or fuel pressure. That side of the engine runs dead lean and therefore very hot. A mechanic can verify that in minutes. If the timing was way advanced, causing a hot condition, both sides of the engine would be hot.
What would cause the engine not to restart when hot Chevy Trailblazer 2007?
The heater has a little radiator in it and it may be enough to cool a engine that is running hot
stuck thermostat, not enough antifreeze in radiator, leaking hose, are the usual. then it would be blown head gasket, not enough oil in engine, electric fans not coming on.
You can not get heat from cold water, The engine has to run long enough to get the water in the engine HOT. That is were you get heat from HOT WATER-- Coolent
well mabe your thermostat on the water pump is sticking or not enough water in radiator or yr just haveing to much fun
The recipe for an engine to run is, Spark, Fuel, Air,,,, But there is much more needed as you know.,,,,,,,,,,,,, This is where I would go from you left me: Check the ignition timing, Check the valve timing, Make sure the fire is hot enough, If its orange or yellow, its not hot enough.
The engine is overheating - see a mechanic for a professional diagnosis .
electric fans are run by a sensor that turns it on when the engine has reached a certain temp. if the engine isn't hot enough or isn't workin hard enough the fan wont kick on
No, not hot enough. If a hair dryer was that hot it would ruin your hair.
