It could be any number of reasons. The first and natural response of all women is to automatically think he is cheating. Don't jump to conclusions though and try to get him to talk to you. Something at work could be bothering him and he is just trying to work it out himself. Men don't communicate like we do and they don't share and problem solve like we do. If it continues and he claims nothing is wrong and other things he does start to change, then keep your eyes open for signs as to what is really going on. He is hiding something from you and guilt is causing it. Sorry, but that is a horrible answer. Guilt may have nothing to do with it. It could very well be something in the first answer where something happened and he's not sure how to deal with it. You can try talking to him to show that you are concerned and willing to listen. Are there any possible health issues with him or maybe his parents? Money troubles? This doesn't mean he's hiding anything from you, he may be thinking it through for himself or a way to break it to you. There can be many factors here. Does he have siblings that you could talk to? A friend at work perhaps? It's not going to be easy to find the key that opens this lock, but you have to try all the keys on the ring...you may just find it.
