To disable the seat belt alarm on a Chevy Colorado, locate the alarm fuse. Pull out the fuse to disable the alarm.
I find that fastening the seat belt disables the alarm immediately

Wear Your Selt Belt! :-) I know its probably hard to reach around your body and hook it up in the 10 secs that it takes to make that alarm stop but that would be my suggestion.
Wear the seat Belt !
it is broken
Tough luck. Take the car to a Auto Store. Theres nothing else to do about it. That's my only advise. Take it of leave it. Come back soon Thanx NOT
You cannot deactivate the seat belt alarm. It is installed to keep all riders in the vehicle safe.

Go to seat belt alarm stop.com
annoying is'nt ?? you figure they get a better chime . how about you close the door........ And never mind the fact that if you release the seat belt while at a drive through window somewhere you have to listen to the alarm. If the engine is running and you stop and release the seat belt the alarm starts beeping! I really would like to disconnect this alarm. I wear my seat belt all the time and I am annoyed with this alarm. Our New 2011 Sonata Hybrid only beeps when you first get in, after that you can do what you want like an adult.
Seatbelts save many lives around the world each year. However, cars still remain among the most dangerous methods of transportation. Seat-belt are found in the latch mechanism. If the magnet does not sense the belt connected it will alarm you with a noise and a sign on the dashboard.
