Dispute the negative credit you have over the next 4 months. If it is payed off and still showing on your credit report dispute it and say it is paid. They will probably remove the negative paid off collections. Pull your own credit report at experian.com (get a tri-merged report) and then do on line disputes for everything you feel might be negative and might be in error in any way. Your credit score is low because of collections and late pays not because of lacking history most likely. I would suggest using the 11k to pay off any corrections or judgements. Both kill your score. Disputes have to be answered by the parties that placed the negative report on your credit - many do not bother answering the disputes.

I had a house for 8 years and the when my husband got sick, I was the sole person paying the bills by my self. I was on chapter 13 at first to pay the bills right by paying each pay period. But the end of the 5 years i was not caught up with the bills. So i went to chapter 7. I was out of so much money in chapter 13. But i never missed a payment. I was all ways on time. My questions is I am renting a house right now, and I pay 875.00 a month. The rental will be up in November of this year. Can I buy another house after all of this?

If you are referring to the internet rumor that the president will pay your bills for one month, this is not true. If you are referring to whether the president pays his own bills, all presidents have an official accounting staff, and these staff members handle all financial matters.

Not likely. Think of it this way: If you pay your bills every month, does it matter where the money comes from? They can't do anything until you stop paying.
