no it will not work! i had a front wheel drive 85 celeb 2.8l and the motor went so i got one out of a 85 s10 pickup and found out after the starter is mounted on the wrong side.
According to Novak Adapters, the TH350 weighs 120 lbs.
Yes you can.
Bolted to the back of the trany
Yes a th 400 can be bolted to a 350 also a th350 and a power glide
turbo 350, TH350. but its a BOP TH350 not a chevy, same tranny, different mounting holes
Yes, assuming the TH350 has the Buick-Olds-Pontiac bolt pattern. A Chevy TH350 will also bolt up, but you will need an adapter from B&M or another supplier.
M38 (th350)
you can if you change or swap the output shaft and remove the tail housing. the inspection cover is also different on the 2wd vs the 4wd and will not give the added strength when bolted on like the 4wd does.
Yes it will, it is the same bolt pattern.
Automatics would include th350, th400, or the 700r4, if you want a overdrive.
just about any Chevy trans, a TH350 or a TH400 are the most common and will both fit. as far as engines and transmissions with Chevy's there just about all interchangeable without to much messing around. only difference with a TH350 to a TH400 is that a 400 will take higher horsepower/torque. but for most stock applications a TH350 will be fine , oh and the TH400's are slightly longer to.
Yes it can if you have all the parts.
