Will a baby snapper about the size of a half dollar live and what can you do to save him after he was accidentally squashed and has something coming out of his backside?

I have raised baby snappers of that size and they did great.

However, with yours it depends on how squashed it is. If the shell

is cracked or damaged then there really isn't much you can do. I

have heard of using bondo to make a shell cover though. As far as

the "thing" coming out his backside I tend to think it is an

prolapsed bowel. I had a turtle with that and I just pushed

everything back in as far as I could and kept him in really clean

water. No sand or small stones he could digest. Sometimes the best

thing to do is let him rest in an area where he feels safe and

comfortable.
