Will a bad alternator affect the power steering?

IF THE BEARINGS IN THE ALTERNATOR ARE BADLY WORN, IT MAY CAUSE
THE FAN BELT TENSION TO BECOME SLACK AND SLIP ON THE PULLEY WHEEL
OF THE STEERING PUMP.
there are mainly three types of power steering
in first case the power assistance is given by the hydraulic pump which is coupled directly to the engine.
But in electrical system for front wheel drive vehicles we use 12V/ 80Amp motor which gets power from battery.
The bad alternator is the one which does not do it's primary function of charging the battery.
The motor ll not be able to perform in absence of less power & so the steering would be hard to steer.
