From my own experience a narcissist will never change. Theyre emotional vampires, never happy however much another person tries to give them.

Not likely. The narcissist is more likely to be addicted to himself.

No. A narcissist cannot change. Narcissism is an untreatable personality disorder. It is unrealistic to believe a narcissist can change any behavior. In the world of the narcissist, he or she is center, remorseless, and sees no reason to change. He may manipulate his chosen one into believing he will change as manipulation and omnipotence are core to his insatiable need to control and keep his partner. Losing is not an option for the narcissist. Because of his inability to feel remorse, the narcissist acts out normal responses based purely on observation of others. He may say he will stop drinking to keep the relationship of abuse and chaos intact. Indeed, he cannot perceive a reason not to do exactly as he chooses to do. The narcissist lacks the ability to be accountable to any person or promise. He has no sense of remorse, no need or feelings for others exept to objectify

you ask ur partner if they can make some changes and you can make changes too....just remember to use communication

Once you recognize that your partner has that personality disorder - If you choose to stay with him or her - you must protect yourself. Do so by reading up on the disorder - and UNDERSTAND what you are dealing with - read what the experts advise how to protect yourself. And do it. Remember that the narcissist is not going to change. YOU must understand that and change yourself - protect yourself. Remember always that your partner is not going to change. Ever. Good luck.

It changes to the image of Scrooges business partner Jacob Marley

Narcissists need to always be complimented; dramatize their lifestyle or indeavors;adored; admired, etc., and it's 'running out of supplies' for the narcissist when they want to come back to the partner they were with. This means the narcissist is not being supplied to boost his or her's ego and they know they can more than likely get the boost (like a drug addiction) from their former partner.

You cannot change a narcissist. That's like saying how do you change a snake into a bear. They use other people who are taken in by their performance. Get away while you can still run. If you think you can change a narcissist then you are setting yourself up as the perfect prey. While you are trying to change the unchangeable he will be using you up.

There is no cure. Intensive talk therapy may help but the narcissist must recognize their problem and be willing to make changes. The problem is that by their very nature a narcissist cannot admit there is anything wrong with them or their behavior. There is no cure. You can not change your partner pokemon.

No they don't. They only get worse.

NO! They are INCAPABLE of change. get away from him asap!

I would say yes. Your mood change, you are in pain, get cravings and the sexdrive changes.

Either use duct tape or cut contact. The narcissist will not change his/her ways.

A true Narcissist wants as many partners as possible, IF all of them idolize the Narcissist. The above answer is correct they do want as many partners as possible. That way if one partner doesn't work out the way narcissist wants he/she has another lined up and ready to go. If you suspect you are with a narcissist-run! Do yourself a favor and get as far away from them as possible. If you ask your narcissist if there is anyone else they will lie to you so you don't leave. Be sure of it as they are all pathological liars. That is one of the many horrible traits of narcissism.

He might, but it wouldn't be because of his narcisism. The true narcissist cares about his partner's feelings only to the extent that they reflect on him. The old joke is apt. "But enough about me. Let's talk about you. What do you think of me?"

Best guess, it can. There is no other way for a true narcissist to be aware of issues within him or herself.

how do you change sidelight on peugeot partner van

No narcissist are too full of themselves to care fir others or miss them

Fear of change or the unknown. Personal insecurity.

There are technical differences, but it is largely a matter of degree. Neither is likely to ever be a decent partner.

They need someone who is as focused on them as they are on themselves. So they'd be better off with someone with really low self esteem, or just someone who is a real giver, and wouldn't mind never getting anything in return.

No, this isn't true at all, your menstrual cycle is controlled by hormonal changes in your body. A partner being unfaithful does not have the power to change your menstrual cycle.
