If you're already pregnant, it's doubtful that an Individual carrier would take you. You might want to check if your state has a guaranteed issue program for those who are pregnant. for more info see

No, when Cobra goes into effect, the (former) employee pays the entire portion of the premium. Although possibly very expensive, the coverage is guaranteed and possibly at better rates than going out to buy individual coverage since it is a group plan.

It depends on the policy and what was specifically covered in the terms of the contract, but generally, most policies will not cover a tubal reversal. The tubal was, in the first place, a deliberate action in an effort to prevent a medical condition; yes, pregnancy is a medical condition. By the standards of most insurance companies, it will be effectively impossible to get them to cover reversal of a tubal ligation. The main issue in determining coverage is whether the procedure is "medically necessary". If it is, according to a physician, there is a better chance of coverage than if it is elective.

One of the chief benefits of consumer-driven health plans is cheaper cost. You can get the same coverage and pay a lot less. You may select the company you want as opposed to being give or assigned a company. Your coverage may be better for problems not covered elsewhere.

The answer depends on who you are trying to get coverage for as most states only cover dental procedures for children under their public programs. If you are looking for coverage for an adult, then private is the most consistent option state to state. Go to the site and use the "Dental Plan Directory" of the National Association of Dental Plans to look up the companies offering coverage in your state. If you want an individual policy, put that in your search to bring back just those companies that have an individual product.
