No, I have come to understand that it will not. I purchased a larger filter with double the GPH and there is no change. The problem is the sediment is too small to be filtered out. relieve fuel pressure,squeeze filter bracket and remove from rear drivers side chasis,depress the white quick disconnect tab and detach,then use one wrench to steady the filter and another to unscrew the fuel line and remove filter. installation is reverse.
Take off the skid plate, reach up over the fuel line bar and turn the filter, some oil will pour onto the filter, so u gotta be quick
This should be taken to a local mechanic if you can not figure it out yourself. However, using the car's manual, you should be able to figure out how to remove the fuel filter even if the coupling is broken.

Relieve fuel system pressure. detatch filter bracket from the chasis. depress the plastic quick release tabs and detatch the lines from the filter. use one wrench to steady the filter and another to unscrew the fuel line fitting and remove filter.
The car engine air filter is below the intake plenum. remove the plenum to the throttle body and underneath to the actual air filter housing. Pull back the three quick clips and there it is.
