Yes some of the 1998 Chevrolet Camaros came with the 5.7 Liter Chevy V8. So the question of fit is definitely, yes it will fit. Of course you will have to also replace the transmission and drive-shaft. A donor car for parts would be an ideal situation. Otherwise it will be a very expensive swap.
yep same size
NO it will not.
probably
Probably not. You have to see if both cars are auto or manual trans. If auto, the V8 will have trans cooler lines into the radiator, not sure if the V6 uses these.
In 1994 there was no SS Camaro. The Z28 had a 5.7 liter V8. The base Camaro had a V6.
An RS camaro came stock with a v6 but came had the option of a v8, turns out most RS's were v8's
The 1995 Z28 camaro has a v8 engine in it. That engine is a ctually a steel version of the corvette engine. Since there are 1995 camaros with v8 engines in them, you can probably fit a v8 into your car.
Not terribly likely as they are 2 different bodystyles and 2 different engines
Yes it will. GM. put alot of V8 engines in that year camaro.
Yes
Yes.
The chances are that it will fit. If the 97 camaro originally had a v8 in it then you will have to change the motor mounts on it which can be a pain to do. Source: I stuck a 5.7L from a full size van in my 1983 camaro that originally had a 2.8 V6.
