It is unlikely that ONE speeding ticket would result in a rate increase. You asked about family members. Am I to understand that all the family members are on one policy? If so and if the rates go up, basically it will be an increase on the whole policy. If mom and dad are paying, the bill will be higher and I would talk to your insurance company to see if they can tell you "how much" the increase was.
If separate policies, then No, no increase.
Sometimes it is best to get junior off the family policy and let him buy it on his own. A good company will quote from several companies and see if it is cheaper with him on or off the policy.
Same as any other car. The ticket is issed to the DRIVER - not the CAR.
There is not a ticket charge for a no proof of insurance in Michigan. You are given a ticket for other things, such as speeding.
Yes, a speeding ticket in any state transfers to every other state. The system is interconnected by your social security and drivers license number.
The fine for a speeding ticket normally depends on the actual speed, not on the age of the driver or how many other tickets you have.
If you get into an accident or get a speeding ticket your insurance will go up. I'm not sure about other traffic violations but speeding will.
Your AZ license will be suspended if you don't pay your speeding ticket (or any other ticket). See first related link for a statement of the consequences, second related link for how to get your license reinstated after suspension. I found both of these at the third related link.
In some states and countries the passing lane on a highway is reserved strictly for passing and you can get a ticket for driving in it when you are not passing. In other jurisdictions, you are permitted to drive in the passing lane. This is why you need to be aware of local friving laws when you are driving away from your home.
If family members refuse to show the will to other family members, often a lawyer will need to get involved. In most cases, a single family member is given the task of handling the will and informing all other members of their inheritance.
Not usually, unless perhaps you were on probation for some type of traffic related offense - OR - there were some other charges associated with the speeding ticket (e.g.: Fleeing to Elude - DUI - etc).
That would depend on the number of miles per hour above the limit, the area in which you were speeding (school zone, construction area), and possibly other factors.
Not always. Some family members can actually be the cause of stress for other family members.
No. In fact I just got a 180$ speeding ticket in Texas and they didn't even check my insurance because it was an out of state vehicle. However, if they ran your insurance when you got pulled over (out of state vehicles sometimes they dont) then it will be reported to your insurance.
