That depends on what you mean by faster.

at -90 degrees up in Alaska somewhere, most all water will freeze about the same time.

But normally the extra ions in salt and sugar water will generally lower the freezing/melting point temperature somewhat below 32 degrees.

So for example at 31 degrees plain water will start to freeze but salt water might not and sugar water might not.

Depending on how much salt you use it changes the freezing/melting point

I think that sugar water will freeze faster.

no salt water does not freeze faster than sugar.

Sugar water freezes faster because it is polar and its bonds are less complicated and strong as the normal water and salt water.

Plain water will always freeze faster than a drink that is carbonated and/or sugary.

Salt water will freeze faster because salt soaks in heat, making the water colder faster

Sugar water freezes faster trust me I know.

plain water, but the salt water will freeze colder

Sugar, sugar helps increase cellulose and help the plant grow faster. Plain water will maintain the status Que.

as opposed to what? but usually plain water freezes slower than most things

Well I tested it out so I say sugar water.

Sugar water freezes faster than salt water. However, regular tap water will freeze faster than either salt, or sugar water.

i think regular water would freeze faster.

Sugar water will freeze faster than salt water.

Plain Water. Sugar water causes a aciding effect on the plant and will form a white mold.

Tap water will freeze faster because when you add sugar(or any kind of substance) it lowers the freezing point of the water.

Salt water does not freeze faster than pure water, and it freezes at a lower temperature. Salt is a form of anti-freeze, which is why it is put on roads in the winter, to help melt the snow.

Water will freeze faster than Coke because Coke has more gas than water and gas takes more time to freeze than plain liquid

we put saltwater and the freezer and sugar and it freezer

Cordial has sugar in it. Sugar and also liquids with sugar in them freeze much more slowly than those without.

plain water cause it has a higher temperature

Plain water because the salt in the other water lowers the freezing point. All molecules must line up in order to freeze, therefore if adding salt, the Na and CL must line up with the water molecules in order to freeze. With plain water, the molecules line up faster and thus freeze faster.

Saturated salt water freezes at a lower temp than saturated sugar water, which freezes at a lower temp than plain water. So plain water will freeze first then sugar water then salt water. Thank you QUIRKIE @
