∙ 15y agoYou must not touch a baby hamster at all after it has been born. It is recommended that you wait at least two weeks before touching the baby at all. Only go into the cage to give fresh food, water and bedding. Mummy hamster will do the rest of the work!

∙ 12y agoYou can touch your mom hamster, but stay clear of the pups until they grow fur and can walk. You can pet your mom hamster, but do not hold her. The babies need her & (although this sounds stupid) may go into shock if she's not there as the babies might be cold/hungry.
