Yes.First,Friday The 13th Remake got released February 2009.The sequel was in start of the script,but the TWC company didnt have enough money to make it.(or something like that).So,at first the date was August 2010,but now It's May 13th 2011.It will be a while.There is also (for many years) still talk about Freddy Vs. Jason 2!:D

After the 2017 remake was cancelled, there is yet another remake slated for a November 2020 release to coincide with the original's 40th anniversary.
