About 15% of the general US population has some type of learning disability. Instead of saying "I can't do it because I have (specific LD)", it should be turned around with "I can do this, and anyone who says I can't, well I'll just show them!" Healthcare practitioners have many more tools to help unlock the problem areas today, but it all starts with the victim's attitude towards his own problem area.
