It depends on the sensitivity of the drug test and the skill of

the person(s) running the test but in general...

Your system is likely to be mostly clear of nicotine, cocaine,

amphetamine, methamphetamine, crack or crank in two to three days

if one or more of the following applies:

* you are an occasional user AND

  • when you use, you use a small or moderate amount of drug (e.g.,

    one or two lines, etc.)

  • your history of using the drug is less than six months

Your system is likely to be mostly clear of nicotine, cocaine,

amphetamine, methamphetamine, crack or crank in three to five days

if one or more of the following applies:

* you use once or twice a week AND

  • when you use, you use a moderate to large amount of drug
  • your history of using is greater than six months

Your system is likely to be mostly clear of nicotine, cocaine,

amphetamine, methamphetamine, crack or crank in five to ten days if

one or more of the following applies:

* you use most days of the week AND

  • when you use, you use a moderate to large amount of drug
  • your history of using is greater than one year

Answer

The above post is both thorough and correct. To see a chart

detailing the length of time various drugs stay in one's system

check out the link Drug Detection Times. It's important to know

also that cocaine (and most other drugs), unlike marijuana, are

water soluble. this means that they are eliminated through

urination, sweating, and any other way that fluids leave the body.

For this reason, water soluble drugs can be eliminated from your

system much more quickly by drinking more fluids than usual. Fat

soluble drugs persist much longer.
