Yes! if you have a cracked head chances are your oil and coolant are mixing together and coolant and or oil is leaking out causing the vehicle to overheat... if you have a cracked head fix it! do not drive the vehicle
it means you have a cracked head or blown head gaskets. does the car overheat?
cracked head or a blwn head gasket
Yes you can. A cracked block does not necessarily mean the car will overheat. If a block is cracked at a coolant jacket then coolant will leak out and the car will overheat if the leak is bad enough. If the leak is not very major or if the crack is at a point that does not have a coolant jacket then it will not overheat. A cracked block could leak oil, compressed air/fuel, coolant, or nothing at all and still be cracked. -R. Mesyef
Could be a head gasket or a warped or cracked Cylinder head.
Engine will possibly overheat, coolant will mix with the oil, and eventually destroy the engine. You must replace a cracked head gasket.
Sounds like a blown head gasket or a cracked head. does the car overheat? check for water in the oil, or oil in the radiator.
sounds like the timing is wrong.also need to do compression check for blown head gasket or cracked head.
cracked head, or leaking head gasket, or cracked block
Stuck thermostat, low of coolant, defective water pump, cooling fan not working, radiator exterior clogged with debris, and lastly a blown head gasket or cracked head.
A car can be driven with a cracked head, but not very far. Once the head is cracked, the engine will start mixing oil and water and it is likely that the motor will lock up.
not good since most transmission coolers are inside the radiator. if you drive a car with a cracked radiator you can overheat the trans fluid causing the fluid to break down and also you run the risk of damaging the head/head gasket(s).
A Cracked cylinder head, or engine block. Or a blown cylinder head gasket.
