Sweden shares its longest border with Norway, which is located to the West of the country. This border is 2542 miles long. Its Eastern border is shared with Finland and is much shorter, about 1/3 that length.
Ten countries share a border with Brazil, including Bolivia, Colombia, Argentina, Guyana, and Peru. The rest are French Guiana, Venezuela, Suriname, Uruguay, and Paraguay. Because it is the largest country in South America, Brazil has a border with nearly every country on this continent.
The United States and Canada share the longest land border between two sovereign countries at 8,893 km (5,525 mi). This border, however, is discontinuous and includes the Alaska–Canada border. The longest continuous land border is between Kazakhstan and Russia at 6,846 km (4,254 mi).
