ForVets is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization serving severely wounded military veterans. ForVets manages Otter Springs Park and Campground which is open to the public and is the location of the future ForVets Camp Valor.
No, not at all. This is another online myth, spread by the president's political opponents. But non-partisan organizations (like Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America) that serve the military have said no such thing about the president. There is no evidence he has treated the military disrespectfully in any way, and he certainly has not purged them. In fact, he worked to get them a pay raise, and has tried to improve services for them with the Veterans' Administration. Note also that the word "purge" means to eliminate. The president might downsize the military sometime, if the country is not at war; but there is no sign he plans to eliminate it, nor even downsize it at any time in the near future.
Yes. Very.

Life without veterans would be vastly different and potentially challenging. Veterans have played a crucial role in defending and protecting countries, ensuring safety and security. Without their service and sacrifice, there could be a lack of expertise in military operations, decreased support for those in need, and diminished appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy. Additionally, there may be a greater burden on society to handle national defense and security issues.
