Would an EPT test give an accurate negative reading the day after a missed period which was also 18 days after having sex and could stress cause a delayed period?

if you still think that you could be pregnant then you should test again. however stress and diet changes can make your poeriods different to what you may normally have. if so then you should go see your gp.

* Pregnancy tests are inaccurate on occasion, or you may be having symptoms of a false pregnancy. Also, additional stress can cause your menstrual cycle to be delayed. I would suggest going to a doctor and having another pregnancy test done. * It means the test may be wrong. See your doctor for a blood test. More accurate.

Yes you may be pregnant but if the tests were negative then your probably having irregular periods.

You can get a false negative. There are very very few false positives.

If the home pregnancy test keeps reading negative it means that you are not pregnant. Just because you have some of the symptom doesn't necessarily mean you are pregnant. If you are having symptoms and the test keeps reading negative it means you are not pregnant, for sure and in addition it also means your hormones are screwed up. It's negative because you can't be pregnant, otherwise it would say yes, your hormones are out of balance that why you think you are pregnant but aren't. It happens all the time more often than you realize. Negative means negative it's right. If the home pregnancy test keeps reading negative it means that you are not pregnant.
