It would more likely be from copper in the well-water that comes from putting a large amount of well water into the pool at one time. There are agents that you can buy, ch-elating agents, (a little expensive) that bind the copper and turn the water blue again, though this will also occur on its own over time---until you fill the pool up again. The best, Cheapest and safest way to eliminate copper from the well water in the pool is to use good old fashion ALUM sold in stores in the spice isle the same alum used to make pickles. Alum Will not harm any metal or plastic parts. The amount needed depends on size of pool and the amount of copper. Too much won't hurt you just maybe pucker you a little but it is safe to swim in right away.
