they would be extremely close where the canyon is but relevantly spaced out before
It would be easy to walk up a slope represented by contour lines that were widely spaced as this represents a shallow gradient / slope.
Where isobars are spaced closest together
The effect of waves on the shore zone.
Steep slope. Each line is a different elevation. The distance between them is an indication of how fast the elevation is changing. If they are close together it means a small horizontal movement will result in a greater vertical change that when they lines are far apart - where you would have to travel a greater horizontal distance to move across the same number of contour lines (to get the same elevation change).
On a map they would indicate a steep slope And on a synoptic chart they would indicate stronger winds the closer they are. Depends on the differences in barometric pressure between the isobars.
Widely spaced contour lines indicate a gradual slope, while closely spaced lines indicate a steep slope.
A steady incline or decline - constant gradient
if someone were to make a topographic map they would mostlikly have a bunch a contour lines realy close together because the closer they are together the more steep it is.so i guess they would make close contour lines then make a drop off

When contour lines are close together the land is steep
High
They would indicate either a sudden increase or decrease in elevation, which could mean a hill, mountain, or depression in topography.
One contour can not cross another because a contour is one exact elevation; if it crossed another contour it would show that it is higher than the second contour on one side, but lower on the other side.

Where isobars are spaced closest together
Contour maps show elevation. The contour interval tells what the difference is between each contour line is, so lines closer together means a steeper slope, and further apart means a gentler slope.
