how do you get to and change the front parking lights on a 1991 civic hatchback si?
The check engine light comes on and stays on when a problem is detected by the self diagnosis system of your vehicle. Generally, a check engine light is lit when there is a problem in the emissions or somthing that is affecting the effectiveness of the emissions.
Could be a Canadian Civic(?) Could be a broken light switch on US Civic - the parking lights include a small white light on the front.

A parking light on your 1998 Honda Civic might not work because the bulb is broken or because the fuse has blown. It might also have an issue with the wiring between the fuse and the bulb.

There is no relay. They are wired directly to the headlight switch.

For the same reason that, even though no one likes taxes, we don't abolish taxes: The revenue is needed to fund various civic operations.
Your 2000 Civic has no cabin filter so that is not your problem.
Have you checked the fuse?
If a 2001 Honda Civic will not go into gear, the problem is probably the transmission. Otherwise, it may be the shift mechanism that is the cause.
If you have a Civic with the ECO switch turn it off before passing. If not, take it to the dealership you have a problem.
You will need to change the brakes and rotors on the Honda Civic to see if that fixes them. If not, take the car to a mechanic and have them fix the problem.
Junk the car. Problem solved.
