in a world with no evil you must have a world with no good. therefor yes there would be no meaning.
It's like Yin & Yang, no evil means no good and vice versa, so I'd say yes.
No. As it turns out, people tend not to think through decisions in terms of "is this good" or "is this evil" - but rather in terms of "how does this affect my long term capability to continue to survive?" On the whole, people tend towards the "cooperation" aspect of things because we're a lot better at getting stuff done when we spread the workload around.
"Good" and "Evil" would have the same real value they have always had. None.
Things would still arise like someone asking what the object on the table was:
''A container of things' would be a good answer,
'A bowl of fruit' would be a better answer, and
'A glass bowl containing Oranges' would be the bestanswer (at leat, of these choices). 'Good' and 'Evil' are adjectives, not nouns.
Good could never be good without evil. Good makes evil look evil. Evil makes Good look good. Its like boys and girls. Boys try to make girls feel like girls by complimenting them. Girls make boys look like guys! Its common sence.
Without evil there would be no good. The opposites are needed.
Before the Fall of Satan, there was no evil.
Why my friend, this is a philosophical statement... but it has only one clear cut answer and that is if there is no good then evil cannot be compared and contrasted to anything thus evil acts would be good. That leads us into good existing without evil which is simply stating if ther is no evil then everything is good because of the lack of existence of evil.
Essentially, you need one to even have the possibility of the other. Without evil, good would not exist and vise versa.
God permits moral evil because Adam and Eve chose to eat the forbidden fruit. Also without bad, there would be no good and without suffering and pain, there would be no love.
There would not be good without evil. Try to keep in mind that good and evil are only the words we use to describe how we perceive something. An action that one person might consider to be evil, another might think to be good. Anything that is not physical dose not 'have to be' anything.I suppose the answer would be No, but there is more to it when you think about it. Hope this helped.
you can't
Money. It is the root of all evil... I would say Marriage! Without it there would not be divorce.
Because without good there is no bad, without evil there is no goodness, without fear there would be nothing to fear. Two forces work together because with one there is no othet
It would depend on WHO is defining "good" and "evil." Remember, Hitler thought his side was "good".
Neither, it simply is. How man uses it would determine good or evil. But things and phenomena cannot be good or evil alone.
It is debatable. Some could argue that we would not know what "Good" or "Evil" is if we did not have anything to compare it too.
