Yes, in "My Computer" open the cd drive, and right click on setup.exe, choose 'run as administrator'. It works on both 32bit and 64bit windows 7 pro.
Right click the application and choose "Run as Administrator". By choosing properties from the list instead and going into the compatibility tab you can put this application to always launch as administrator.
Yes, but only for older Windows operatiing systems. 1. Right click and choose properties. 2. Go to the compatibility tab and choose the desired system. 3. A good tip is to also check "Run as administrator" on the same page.
Control panel -> User accounts. Depending on your Windows version you might have to click "Manage another account" before given the possibility to "Create new account". Choose "Administrator" in the setup wizard.
Right click on the Paint and go in Security tab, then choose Run as Administrator... The press Ok, and you should be good to go. The problem is that the program you are trying to run requires elevated rights, Windows 7 will sometimes block such programs (depending on your security settings).
The built-in Administrator account CANNOT be deleted. The standard security practice is to rename the built-in Administrator account, set a strong password on it, and create another accounts with limited privileges set, for regular use, reserving the Administrator account as a back-up in case something where to happen to your regular account. If this administrator account is one you made yourself you can delete it. 1) Open the control panel and select the user account option. 2) Select the account you wish to delete then choose the "Delete Account". 3) Then if you wish choose the "Delete all files" option.
Regardless of what the brand, the easiest way to gain access to the administrator account in Windows is to reboot the computer and hold the F8 button during the reboot. When you see a meny appearing prompting you to choose a boot-up method you choose SAFE MODE and wait. When you get to the Welcome Login screen in windows you should have the option to log on as Administrator. If you are lucky that account will be unlocked.
If it wont install, you may have to tell windows to run the installer in compatibility mode. Open up my computer and browse to the civ 4 cd. Look for a file called install.exe or setup.exe or something like that, right click on it and choose properties. In the properties menu set it for windows XP (or 2000) compatibiltiy mode. Another possibility is to find setup.exe, right click and choose Run as Administrator.
to make empire earth work under vista, click on the property function of the ee icon on your desk top, choose compatibility, click box, insert xp pack 2, choose administrator previledge and voila! it works :) good luck
You don't need any special application. Just do a right-click to your computer icon and select "manage" (you probably have to have administrator rights) then, in new windows, choose "System Tools", then "Event Viewer" and "Windows Logs" there you can find everything you need for further work. (I am talking about win 7)
you have to download comctl32.OCX and comdlg32.OCX i have downloaded these. You have to put them to WINDOWS/SYSTEM32 Don't worry! your computer will be not killed! if you do this, you can start advance mart. and make sure you run advance mart as administrator, to do that right click on advance mart and choose run as administrator.
yes, we can. Right click on Autorun/Setup file, one clicks to launch the installation, click on properties > Compatibility > Choose Widows XP Service Pack 2/ Windows Vista SP 1> and also click Run as administrator. One must be able to install it and also launch the desktop icon with the same compatibility settings. The graphics might not be great, but does the job. :)
You should probably choose Windows Setup because that is the program used to install windows. If you were not to upgrade anything you would probably notice that Windows Setup is not there. (but its also a matter of opinion)
