Mostly fad diets such as the Sacred Heart diet and the cabbage soup diets have been debunked. These are extreme diets that are in no way healthy or maintainable. The detox diets have also been know to not last.
Extreme diets are diets that usually focus on quick-fast results for weight loss and not the most important factor which is health. They tend to come from nowhere and then fizzle away just as fast as they appeared. A couple of examples would be the grapefruit diet or the cabbage diet.
When people talk about belly fat diets they are talking about a diet that is designed to specifically target a person's belly fat. This is the excess fat that develops around the abdomen or stomach region.
I do not endorse any of the so called "Extreme diets" that are showing up online. They can be very dangerous. Healthy eating and exercise is a much more effective, safer, and long term way to reach your goals.
