Symptoms of miscarriage include but are not limited to: heavy bleeding, bright red bleeding, clots, cramping, loss of pregnancy symptoms, dizziness, and abdominal pain.

If you feel that you could be having a miscarriage or have any type of bleeding during pregnancy you should call your Dr.

If you are having heavy bleeding (more than 1 pad per hour), back/shoulder pain, smelly discharge, yellow/green discharge, or fever you should go to the ER immediately.

Is it possible to have a miscarriage without pain?

My husband and i have been trying to get pregnant. I ovulated 9 days ago and have been cramping off and on...mostly on right side... with some days worse than others. Does this mean im pregnant?

It is possible. I knew when I ovulated with my first child and I had cramping like that. Mine was from a cyst that formed after the egg burst through which is why it was cramping only on side. With my other 2 children and with 1 miscarriage I also had cramping all over just from the changes in ligaments etc... My miscarriage was a blighted ovum and had nothing to do with the cramping. Slight cramping in early pregnancy is very common.

Do you cramp and bleed bright red blood during a miscarriage?

Yes. If you are pregnant and are bleeding and cramping, go to the E.R. immediately. There are other complications that can cause bleeding and when medical help is sought soon enough, it may be possible to avoid miscarriage.

Is it normal that mild cramping at four to six weeks pregnant suddenly stopped and is it indicative of a possible miscarriage if the woman has had a prior miscarriage at 7 weeks?

It could mean that you have had a miscarriage, but this is normally accompanied by bleeding and heacier cramping. Everything could be fine, bit with a history of miscarriage I would avoid sex and strenuous physical activity and see your doctor. The doctor can obtain a Quantitative HCG level and then obtain another in a week or so to make sure your HCG level is rising at it should.

Is it possible for the cramps to become a lot less painful right after the miscarriage?

Once you have passed all of the "contents of pregnancy" the bleeding may subside and the cramps lessen. Everyone is different. Your body is going through a lot during a miscarriage and the cramping is the uterus contracting to empty, so as time goes on the cramps should lighten. Hello - It is possible yes. I am very sorry about your miscarriage. See your Doctor to make certain the Foetus has been expelled.

Do laxitives cause a miscarrige?

While it is not very likely that ex-lax would cause a miscarriage, it is possible. The cramping which laxatives cause could theoretically cause uterine spasms and lead to a miscarriage. It would be best to talk to your doctor if you are having difficulties.
