It could mean that 1. they either didn't find the heartbeat or 2. You could be having a misscarriage. Sometimes it's very difficult to find a heartbeat when the baby is so small. Depending on the position of the baby as well. just because your levels aren't exactly doubling doesn't indicate a problem it could just mean that your body is responding differently then the other womans also as long as your levels are significantly rising say example 10,000 to 17,000 in 4 or 5 days then your fine some womens levels are just different hope everything works out for you and it is very rare that they can find a heartbeat at 6 weeks the heart is just about fully developed and may not have even begun beating it really depends on a lot so don't be so worried just yet your doctor will see whats going on stressing about things only makes them seem worse then what they are Good Luck and God Bless!!!
